Kenshiro faces off with Hyoh, who has gone there and turned into a demon. Just as Kaioh is about to deliver the finishing blow to Shachi, Akashachi showers him in concentrated sulfuric acid, stalling him long enough to rescue Kenshiro and Shachi. Bat tries to protect Lin by claiming he is their leader, but Falco sees right through it and identifies Lin as the true leader. Right in the middle of the funeral for Sayaka being held in Kaioh's castle, an Asura named Gyoko's battle train crashes in. But even after coming to terms with reality, no technique seems to be able to break the seal on his memories. It's a great rock song, sung by passionate singers. It offers a lot of insight to various aspects of her character and the events within the series.
The reason that it took me so long isn't because I didn't enjoy it - I did enjoy it - it's just far too long for me to take in all at once. It ends a little bit sooner than the manga does, plus it contains some fillers. This is without a doubt one of the most interesting of the series with terrific animation and the most interesting story. Seeing his chances of winning slipping away, Kaioh casts off the armor he wears to contain his evil fighting spiritual energy, and goes all-out in a last ditch battle! Ein's life leaves a powerful impression on Kenshiro, and Kenshiro grows determined to pursue Taiga. This means that Ken will have to travel from land to land, training and growing stronger all the while.
Characters seem to feel as if they need to justify their actions or beliefs to their opponent, which makes for some good backstory moments. Due to this illness, Ryuken not to be confused with 'Hokuto Ryuuken' reconsidered. Due to his strength, Kenshiro could escape whenever he wanted, but chose to stay and protect the other slaves. His face bears an eerie resemblance to Raoh's. There are quite a lot of still frames and looped animations, so I have to say that the animation left something to be desired.
When comparing it to how the manga looks, I think that it was adapted very well in the art department. Like many others, Raoh became a dictator with his own land and army. The second series started off somewhat disappointing, but once I reached the 'Land of Shura' arc, the feeling that I got from the original series came back to me. It's true that most villages are ruled by one person or another, but that doesn't stop people working hard and living a happy and simple life. Kaioh gets sent flying into the sky by a geyser erupting from beneath the grave, and when he swoops down upon Kenshiro, Kenshiro's fist slams into him! He is charged with eliminating Kenshiro, and uses his poison cape to paralyze Kenshiro and pummel him with attacks. Lin and Bat, ready to give up their lives, reveal themselves out in the open. One thing that I did notice is that the horses in the series have the same sound effects. So if you're tired of the plain old, pretty boy Shounen, add 'Fist of the North Star' to your to-watch list right away! Then comes Geld, a Celestial Emperor Army executioner. The character of Ken is a good middle ground between the overly aggressive Roah and the gentle and kind Toki. The reason that some of the fighters do not use martial arts is because these martial arts are unheard of to most people.
Now, how these martial arts work isn't explained in detail, so perhaps it really does make sense, but I can't help but feel as if it's too convenient. Even though' Fist of the North Star' begun airing in 1984, and 'Fist of the North Star 2' begun airing in 1987, I think that the art still holds up today. Kaioh, now convinced that the main family's ultimate technique is love, seeks to prove the superiority of the North Star Lapis Lazuli Fist that he uses for his evil ultimate art. In other words, Toki wishes to use 'Hokuto Shinken' as an art of healing, rather than an art of assassination. Meanwhile, learning of the destructive point hit on Lin, the Asuras go after her. The best way to describe Toki is having every good vitrue that a human being could possibly have. But the name of the savior Jukei spoke of turns out to be Raoh!
