If you have Auto-on lights convienace package they may be comming on in showdowed area, tree lines road, overpass etc. Replaced free of charge under warranty. If you are getting distortion at this level, it indicates the wattage is too low on your Nissan's amplifier to drive the factory's speakers. Once I got home I taped the roof and by the time I got to the repair shop the next day the pressure caused the roof to reopen and continue to break. The dealership was crown pontiac in hoover, alabama. Thanks for your time mmkeller wrote:You have over 36k miles already? A yellow key symbol appeared. When I went to leave, the car would not start or do anything.
It keeps popping open every time I drive now. I took it to them an they replaced it for me since its under warranty. Once I got home I taped the roof and by the time I got to the repair shop the next day the pressure caused the roof to reopen and continue to break. Needed to be rewired and have hole drilled to let condensation escape. Blows fine, heater even works. Taillights were not functioning, bad wiring.
No other change were made. The car jerks as if downshifted, and slows drastically, and the gas pedal does not accelerate the car. Don't play when it's cold in the car. Took the car back last month and was repainted with 3 flaws. Typically, it is impossible to read the display while driving as you must face directly in-line with the unit. Never a good answer or option. The dealership advised me that the bcm has an internal short and needed to be replaced.
Running the car on fog lights. Improved, but motor died 3 days later. The radio display light also blanks out, not sure if this is related or a separate problem. It is intermittent with no apparent warning. So I never got that issue fixed. First try dismantled and lubed window track. The radio has a lot of static.
Took to the dealer and they said it was because of the window tint. The car would not start, nothing was happening. Used the Phillips Crystal ultra. Do these cigarette lighters die out or could something else trigger it to not work??? I asked Nissan to replace the radio with a different unit and they refused but indicated there would be a redesign in 2006. Listen for intermittent sound cutout. Hoping my husband can fix this during the weekend. If the sound cuts in and out on your Nissan's radio, it can indicate a faulty ground wire.
The cars are still doing the same. They promised me a touch up on the front bumper and hood because of the paint chips and to redo the titanium wheels because the finish was rubbed off and the rims were turning black. Also I have a rattle in the drivers side door when the radio is on. This is to be expected if it is an older Nissan, but even newer Nissans can suffer from a low-end factory installed radio. R and Red on site took 20 min. Front door sensor was not registering door open most of the time. No other change were made.
Listen for sound distortion when you turn the volume up to at least 50 percent of maximum volume. When the contact took the vehicle to the dealer, she was advised to go to another repair shop. Pulled out the 20 amp and the fuse was bad. So to replace the defective radio that Nissan says is not covered in the warranty I would destroy the dash causing a replacement of thousands. It also can mean the speaker cone may have ripped. If it fails at the fuse, then there's something wrong with wiring from the battery to the fuse box. Listen for a humming sound coming through the audio system while the car is running.
Changes have been made throughout. Then I got to my first stop light and when the light turned green the car would not go anywhere then is started goi g really really slow and then all of a sudden it accelerated so fast it was scary. I haven't replaced it yet because the weather is beautiful in San Diego. I was then told that if I don't replace the compressor at a cost of over 1k then it will fail and damage the belts, which will cause the power steering to fail as well as damaging the condenser. When power is removed from the radio -- which happens when you disconnect the battery -- the radio is locked out and you must have the security code to validate that you are the owner of the radio before it will work again. When I asked him how offten this happens and he said not that offten so how can that be? Took it back for noises.
This bulletin has been amended. I only went to dealership 3 times with sterring lock issues previously only to be told that it was my fob not the steering lock. She of course could not move out of the lanes. It kept making the noise while driving so I brought it back the second time and they said they completed the service bulletin by installing some double sided tape. Has this been a reported issue? I need this cigarette lighter so I can use my gps, does anyone have any suggestions to what can solve this issue?? Others have had valve body work done and even replaced the transmission. I am hoping to just trade in and get another car.
They don't stay on long and it's hard to tell eccept that the radio lights dim, and you may see the lights by the shifter and temp controls come on. Gave them information from 3m that the tint would not interfere with the radio and then they said they didn't hear it. If the sound stops when you turn off the engine, you may have feedback being generated through the power leads on the Nissan's alternator or ignition. For example, only part of the time would light up. Within 60 days the paint was coming off in the same place again.
