Each gauge uses the identical stepper motor. Unhook the underside of this rubber collar, then gradually work the collar out by pulling the panel away to the right and up. Since my soldering pen is huge i just did a few and it worked so I stopped while I was ahead.

I am currently waiting for the stepper motors to arrive. Put everything back together and do a happy dance. If you don't have one, a salvage yard is a good place to find one. This exposes the instrument cluster.
